Ellen Parker Bibb
graduated from
Auburn University in
1987 with a B.F.A.
degree in graphic
design and a
background in
painting that
provided the
groundwork for a
parallel fine arts
career. With almost
20 years experience
as an award-winning
graphic designer in
Nashville, she has
continued to develop
her images in
creative painting.
In reference to her
paintings, Bibb says
“I choose images
that provide a
visual escape from
my daily routine.
Whether it is a
street scene,
landscape or a still
life, I find
inspiration in their
inherent beauty or
by the thoughts and
emotions they evoke
through me.
Concentration on
unexpected color and
active brush strokes
provide a framework
for me to define
images. My objective
is a painting that
will offer the
viewer the same
emotion it offered
me in the creative
process.”
Ellen Bibb lives and
maintains a graphic
design and art
studio in
Nashville,
Tennessee.
